Sight Flow Indicators

Suitable for hydraulic tanks, pressure vessels, coolant tanks and pipes carrying hydraulic fluid, the Midwest sight flow indicators are an inexpensive protection for expensive equipment and systems. Sight flow indicators are used to allow operators to see the process pipeline, so they can verify liquid flow and flow direction. This also makes it easy to observe the colour, clarity, consistency, viscosity and any other characteristic of the process fluids, so you know if adjustments are needed. We supply both the window viewing style (SF1-100, SF1-300), as well as the tube viewing style in the SF1-400 and SF1-700 series.

The 100 and 300 series sight flow indicators offer threaded process connections, viewing windows and are manufactured from high quality brass. The 100 series comes with a single window with a rotating impeller, and the 300 series has a double window with a flapper. All models can withstand temperatures of up to 93 degrees Celsius and features a removeable window than can be easily serviced or replaced if required.

Both the 100 and 300 series are available in body sizes:

The 400 series can also withstand temperatures of up to 93 degrees Celsius and are manufactured from cast iron. It offers threaded or ANSI flanged process connections and tube style viewing.

The 400 series is available in body sizes:

• 4

The 700 series offers threaded process connections and tube style viewing as well, except it is manufactured from brass and features an additional bright red acetal rotating impeller that is easily visible from any angle. Able to withstand temperatures of up to 100 degrees Celsius, it also has internal wipers that can restore visibility without disrupting the flow.
