Knife gate valves can be used in isolation and throttling duties. Knife gate valves consist of a gate machined over the full length for optimal sealing and allow high flow rates with low pressure drops. They are designed for a wide range of applications such as:

Brands that we can supply are AVK, Challenger Valves, DeZURIK, HMA Valveco brands Slurry Tamer and Technegate and Orbinox. Orbinox knife gate valves are designed according to MSS-SP-81 and TAPPI TIS 405-8. The epoxy coating on all ORBINOX cast iron and carbon steel valve bodies and components is electrostatically applied for corrosion resistance with a high quality finished surface. The ORBINOX standard colour is RAL-5015 blue.
